We’re looking for people with:
- Sharp attention to detail and great people skills
- A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (or willingness to gain them)
Our lifeguards work in a vibrant, friendly environment and play a key role in delivering the outstanding guest experience Ōpuke is known for. Flexibility is important, as shifts include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Chef/Cook

We’re searching for a Chef to become part of our passionate and close-knit kitchen team. If creating delicious food and delivering memorable dining experiences excites you, this is your opportunity to work in one of Canterbury’s most unique hospitality destinations — featuring a swim-up bar, premium poolside dining and a café with spectacular mountain views.
What we’re looking for:
- A strong team player who thrives in a busy kitchen.
- Leading the kitchen team and maintaining high standards when required to cover for the Head Chef.

- Solid health & safety knowledge and great working practices.
